Sang Pemimpi.
Kota Kinabalu International Airport. |
I'm just like you. I came from a family who taught me to work hard to achieve things that I want. I learnt to save my own money to buy almost everything that I like. When I was in primary school, every time I see an aeroplane flying overhead, I waved and shouted at it as if the pilot can hear me. Wishing that someday I'm going to travel the world.
I guess we are all dreamers but true dreamers are the ones who don't sleep. They are those who work hard to make their dreams come true. It doesn't matter who you are, where you come from. The ability to triumph begins with you. Always.
---
It'll be fun to be seventeen forever but Murakami once said, "Only the dead stay seventeen forever". So, alhamdulillah for the gift of life. :)

What do you want to do before you die?
Live my life to the fullest, and die with memories not dreams.

what does the quote from murakami mean?
ReplyDeleteThe quote is from his book Norwegian Wood. It's literally just an emphasis to refer about the main character's friend who's dead at seventeen. Therefore, his dead friend can't age. He will forever stay seventeen. While we are alive, we are told to carry on with our life and be thankful we can still blow out the candles on our birthdays every year. But I don't celebrate birthday tho. Hehe.
DeleteNorwegian Wood - nak cari buku ni..by the way, happy belated birthday, Ary..wpun tak celebrate, ianya skadar ingatan dari saya :)
DeleteTerima kasih Kak zilla.
Bestnya. Indo banyak translate buku2 best karya penulis2 terkenal. Selamat membaca kak, best cerita tu cuma biasa la buku karya jepun ni, ada je part2 yang agak kurang sopan untuk dibaca. Ambil yang baik je. Nanti review la sikit buku tu Kat blog akak k. Suka baca point of view orang tentang buku. :)
DeleteAry,
Dulu ingat dia lelaki sebab kat buku tu dia letak nama dia Dee. Okay kak, insyaAllah nanti saya try cari buku tu. Google buku tu tadi nampak macam unik sangat cover dia, simple je.
